2010 Hunting Regulations Are Here There are changes for this year.  Zone 2, Area 245 no longer exsists as it was.  It is now Zone 2, Area 259 and there are some boundary changes.  Zone 1, Area 172 did not have boundary changes.  Both areas, 172 and 259 are Lottery Areas for this year.  The Deer Tag you purchase for Firearms and Muzzleloader Seasons will be valid for a Buck only.  You can enter the Antlerless Lottery for a chance to be drawn for an Antlerless Permit by purchasing your 2010 Firearm or Muzzleloader License by Septmeber 9, 2010, specify you would like to be entered into the lottery.  Also new for this year, you can enter the lottery for BOTH Firearms and Muzzleloader Seasons.    Hunting 2009 2009 BIG BUCK CONTEST First Place: $100 Gift Certificate Second Place: $25 Gift Certificate To enter simply register you deer at Swanson's Bait & Tackle Contest is based on Dressed weight of the deer.  CONTEST ENDS 12/31/2009   At the end of the 3rd day of the season we have registered around 450 deer, about 30% down from last year.
